Rants against Stream of Consciousness*

Consciousness, consciousness, where do you stay?
'I stay in your mind, 'pon your thoughts I pray'
Consciousness, consciousness, why don't you die?
'Because if I die, then your thoughts shall fly'
Consciousness, consciousness, let them be free.
'Oh, no no no, that's impossible, you see'
Consciousness, consciousness, leave me alone
'Why of course, for a minute, here- get stoned'
Consciousness, consciousness, you're nothing but a sham.
'Muahaha! Write that in your Paper 7 exam.'**

*My exams begin from tomorrow, so something of this sort was anticipated.
** Paper 7 includes Virginia Woolf's Mrs. Dalloway. Nuff said.

@ Nishi:

I agree! but any writing has been overshadowed by much pretense of late. I wrote a poem that I deemed worthy of putting on the blog, but while reading, realised that it was much too pessimistic and 'course-inspired'.
I find it difficult to undulge it what I term 'pleasure writing' when I have to keep writing for something or another as a compulsion. Then, in your free time, you want to do anything but write. Sigh. Same goes for all the bookworm tendencies.

@ Mansi:
Why thank you! I agree, though I wouldn't really term this rant monumental.
Much thanks for the humbs-up and that was a brilliant pun on Mrs Woolf. :D
(Holy crap! I'm talking like Sheldon.)
