Kudos to the University... Tis particular story touched me beyond words, coz I had the good fortune of learnin from a PH prof myself.. Prof Sam, professor of Sociology at St.Xavier's College..I was really proud of being in a college that had won the tag of being the most PH friendly college!!! There were ramps most places so that those wid wheelchairs had more access to the main spots in college and called for independent mobility for them!!!
Yes, it is. I'm glad to be part of the University! :-)
And the strangest thing was that when I was in school, he was too (as a teacher, of course). And when it was time for me to join college... voila! Along comes news of his selection too.

I've had the fortune of growing up with a remarkably talented, differently-abled man. My father- Dr. P. S. Sharma who also features in this piece.

And a bow to your Dad.
One can only admire his struggle and imagine his ecstacy over fulfilment of a long cherished dream.
